Getting Started

First Visit

Every smile starts with an initial consultation!

Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all of the information that you need to determine which treatment is right for you. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation.

What happens after the initial consultation?
You’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment and your doctor will place your new orthodontic appliance. This appointment generally takes about an hour, and during this time our team will be available to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.

Scheduling Appointments
Visiting the orthodontist about every four to eight weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you. We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.

Financial Information

Everyone Should Be Able to Get A Healthy Smile! The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our staff will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each available payment plan option, so that you can make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment. We accept most insurance plans and we will file the necessary papers to your insurance company.

Financial considerations should not stand in the way of a beautiful smile, so we work hard to make orthodontics affordable for you.

Our practice offers the following financial options:
  • Interest-free monthly payments
  • Flexible payment plans
  • Courtesy discount of 5% for paying in full via cash or check
  • Courtesy discount of 2.5% for paying in full via debit or credit
  • Payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
  • Automatic electronic monthly debit of, health savings accounts (Visa or Mastercard) and checking or savings accounts.
Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you understand your insurance benefits. Orthodontic benefits are usually paid as a lifetime benefit. With the proper information from you in advance of your free initial consultation, we can establish the amount of your available lifetime orthodontic benefit.

This will allow us to develop a payment plan for treatment that will maximize your insurance benefit and to structure payments (for the balance) that will fit your budget. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions (from our office) on your behalf.

With your help, we can make orthodontics affordable to anyone that wants a beautiful smile. We look forward to helping you discover the secret behind an SO smile.
